Alzheimers Care

Caring for someone with Alzheimers is one of the most difficult situations to be in. Feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, depressed, and scared are just some of the emotions that caregivers experience. It is important that caregivers take care of themselves. Studies have found that caregivers who do not practice self care are more likely to suffer from physical and mental health conditions.

My knowledge and experience as a Geriatric Case Manager coupled with my therapeutic skills, allows me to provide support, education, and resources to caregivers. I provide a caring and safe place for you to express your feelings and thoughts honestly. I can help you learn new ways to cope with frustrations and challenging behaviors that many Alzheimer’s patients present.

Taking care of yourself is necessary for you to take the BEST care of your loved one.

I provide individual therapy, education and coaching, assistance obtaining resources through private, county and federal agencies, and assistance with long term planning.
